Weightvest.com, Inc. was founded in 1983 when we produced our first patented weight vest and sold over 40,000 units through an ad in Racquetball Illustrated magazine. From there, we took our products to Joe Weider’s publication, Muscle and Fitness, and also advertised in several other magazines including Karate Illustrated, Inside Kung Fu, Black Belt, and Iron Man. The internet has greatly increased our sales.

We are located in southeastern Idaho, where we manufacture our weight vests. Our goal is to produce high-quality, durable weight vests that will outperform all others on the market. We use a combination of imported fabrics and components and weights procured from companies in the USA. The weights are made of cast iron from various foundries, some of which are imported, but all are coated in the USA.

We offer a range of use-specific weight vests, including those for basketball, football, rugby, soccer, firefighters, and military trainers. We are known for our flexibility in design and textiles, and are able to meet the diverse needs of our customers. In addition to our specific designs, we also offer a variety of colors and patterns to choose from. Our weight vest line also includes a selection of accessories such as running pads, hydration packs, belts, and hangers. We offer a lifetime warranty against defects.
